Reverberation Chamber

The electromagnetic reverberation chamber (RVC) is a rapidly developing electromagnetic testing site in recent years. It can conduct radiation immunity, radiation emission, antenna efficiency and various shielding effectiveness tests on the EUT of the equipment under test. Compared with traditional electromagnetic compatibility testing sites, the reverberation chamber has the characteristics of low cost, good repeatability, short testing cycle and no interference from the external electromagnetic environment on the ground. The mechanical agitation type reverberation chamber is currently the most widely used, standard-recognized and relatively reliable radio wave reverberation chamber in operation.
A typical reverberation chamber structure and equipment configuration consists of a shielding cavity, a stirrer and drive motor, a signal source, a power amplifier, a transmitting antenna, a receiving antenna (or field strength meter), and control equipment, etc.

Main application areas

Electromagnetic compatibility radiation immunity test, GJB/DO-160 high-field strength radiated testing, automotive vehicle/component EMC testing, MIMO OTA antenna testing, etc.
